Fairway Homecare announced as main club sponsor for Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club
We are pleased to announce that we are now main club sponsor for Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club. After a very successful first season in partnership we have further increased our involvement and commitment to the club, as we further develop and build on the foundations of an already very successful partnership.
BMRC Director Robin Johnson said “We are delighted to continue our relationship with Fairway and Embark. We have many exciting plans with them and welcome their support as main shirt sponsor for the coming season and it is fantastic to see the results and opportunities they have delivered for the local community. It is also marvellous to see them at the ground supporting the team at nearly every fixture. We look forward to exciting and bright future working alongside them.’’
Joint Chief Executive Pete Geddes said “This is fantastic news for the club, Alex and all the people involved at Fairway and Embark have been a real driving force in wanting to move the club forward and improve all we can offer. They have supported us in many areas over the first year and we look forward to seeing this partnership grow and flourish and benefit both parties further for many more years to come.”
Teamwork and innovative collaboration have always existed between Fairway and Embark Learning, when we were given the opportunity to explore how we could work with Birmingham Moseley it quickly became clear that there were significant positive outcomes and possibilities for all of us. Fairway provide and logistically deploy some 300+ health and social care professionals across the West Midlands, covering nearly a third of a million hours of care a year to those most needy. The Embark Learning Care Academy is pivotal in sourcing, finding and developing the next generation of health and social care professionals to fuel the Fairway supply and thus drive up capacity. Together, we have created some 150 positions, taking people off benefits or in tricky situations and started them on their career journey. Collectively we have added almost 200,000 hours of capacity each and every year.
Birmingham Moseley initially provided us with the South Birmingham base we needed to reach out to local citizens, but our partnership has flourished and developed still further. We have assisted in the catering and hospitality area, having access to and having trained many front of house staff. We have exciting plans to expand our training provision once more to hospitality, catering and front of house staff. We have partnered the club with First Aid and Defibrillation training sessions and demos and as we become the Main Club Sponsor and Community Partner for the forthcoming season, we are truly excited to help to develop community links and projects across the local area offering job opportunities, adult training courses, career development and information advice and guidance for all.
The Club has great traditions and ambitions for the future and that shared philosophy with Fairway and Embark means that together we can really make a difference in and around the local community. Giving Birmingham a rugby club to be proud of whilst we develop the next generation of health and social care heroes, many of whom, carefully trained and nurtured at Billesley Common. Exciting times ahead!
