Fairway Healthcare, are looking for experienced Support Workers to work with our client based in Burton upon Trent. Our client is a residential service which provides care for residents who have learning difficulties and autism. You will be working to deliver personal care, help prepare meals and support in day to day activities.

The service is split across two sites, one with autistic and non-verbal residents and the second has slightly more able residents. You will support the clients to complete tasks and build strong relationships with them, promoting dignity and independence. We have a range of shifts so whether you are looking for full or part time, days or nights we have something for you. We work around your availability and preferences to fit in extra shifts in quality services. As part of your onboarding we will provide a comprehensive sector specific training program including accredited restraint training. Responsibilities for Support Worker include:

• Supporting clients to fulfil their daily activities and day trips
• Maintaining dignity and respect
• Helping to prepare meals
• Assisting with personal care
• Carrying out appropriate restraint where required
• Delivering person centred care alongside other medical professionals

As Support Worker you will have the following:

• Legal right to work in the UK
• Minimum 2 references
• Clear DBS
